I love your striped mandy boat tee. i should add that to my list seeing as i get to wear more casual stuff this year. And that Aztec-y coco is so cool! you did so well. And i totally agree, you'll never get to sewing more complicated things if you don't try. I know where your coming from. sometimes you just want to get the bloody thing sewn without any tears, but sewing a shirt or a fitted wiggle dress i think is something you should try this year. Maybe work yourself up to it, like a nice dress for you wedding anniversary - that should give you 11 months to practice and i'm sure Dave will appreciate it ;)Catherine Aleknahttp://sewingthe60s.blogspot.com.au/noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7846347473282025148.post-4313656133793748522015-01-07T00:11:58.764+11:002015-01-07T00:11:58.764+11:00I think that there are heaps of great makes here a...I think that there are heaps of great makes here and like Sonja just love that mandy tee - oh how I love that colour stripe! I hope that next year you start to feel more comfortable wearing your clothes. Didn't fit, wasn't my style, never got worn. You've found some great styles that really work for you (ummmmm that Mandy Boat Tee??? SO GOOD!) and I'm really looking forward to see what you make in 2015! Take as many classes as you need to feel more confident with your sewing. Honestly you've come a LONG way. The only clothes left over from my first year of sewing is a couple of knit tops. The rest just didn't work out/didn't fit/got donated so it's nice to see you have quite a few wins!Jodie Bhttp://scaredstichless.blogspot.com.au/noreply@blogger.com
